BBC Trust upholds key elements of BESA’s fair trading complaint
The BBC Trust has today (8 October 2009) announced that it is upholding key elements of BESA’s complaint dated 31 March 2009 about the BBC online services for formal education and will conduct a competitive impact assessment to determine our remaining issues of distinctiveness and market impact. Today’s announcements confirm that since 2007 the BBC has failed to follow Trust guidelines with its developments of educational services and has failed to engage sufficiently with industry.
