The need for independent research into UK schools and their Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has been a BESA priority for some years, and this report forms part of an on-going programme to investigate the market. Recent developments in technology and Government policy on ICT in education are not only having fundamental effects on teaching and learning in schools, but are impacting on the products and services provided by BESA members, whether or not they are involved with ICT.
This summary report is the tenth in a series of annual surveys which aims to identify the provision and use of ICT in UK state schools. It can be downloaded free of charge by any visitor to the BESA website.
The full report consisting of two volumes, as described below, is available free to BESA members.
