Adam Edmett, Head of EdTech Innovation for the British Council, will give a presentation on British Council English Programmes, followed by a Q&A session. The presentation will provide a brief introduction to the purpose of the British Councilâs global work with English teachers, before focussing on how they use EdTech to engage with this audience. The aim is for attendees to have a better idea of the nature of English Programmes work and the type of opportunities for BESA members to partner with the British Council. Â

Adam Edmett is Head of Ed Tech Innovation for the British Council and currently based in Delhi, India. Adam has 27 yearsâ experience in English Language Teaching and digital learning technology with roles in fourteen countries. He has a Doctorate from the University of Bath and an MA from the Open University, both in Online Education. Â
