Andrea Carr, Chairman at Teacher Tapp and Mable, Board Director eEducation Albert and eyWorks, Trustee of IMPACT Multi Academy Trust and Teacher Development Trust

Andrea is the founder of Rising Stars, a publishing and EdTech company now owned by Hachette. Having built and exited her own company, she has gone on to work as non-executive director and advisor to a range of organisations in the education technology arena, including SMEs and early-stage companies, private equity investors, and strategic consultancy firms. Andrea will share her own experiences of working with companies through investment, growth, and acquisition strategies and exit.

 

Zuleika Salter, Head of Private Growth Capital, Cavendish 

Zuleika heads the Private Growth Capital division having joined Cavendish (then finnCap) in 2021.
She has led numerous private company fundraisings across multiple sectors, with a focus on founder-led UK SMEs.
With 10 years experience in Venture Capital, Zuleika started her career at Puma Investments before moving to WHIreland and setting up their Private Equity practice.

 

Benjamin Faulkner, Associate Director, Gresham House Ventures

Benjamin Faulkner is an Associate Director at Gresham House Ventures, the growth equity division of Gresham House, an £8.3 billion AUM sustainable asset management platform (as at 30-Jun-23). Gresham House Ventures are a flexible, long-term investor that brings capital, insight and commercial expertise to support Founders and Management teams fulfil their growth ambitions. Existing portfolio companies in the education sector include MyTutor, Mable Therapy and Cognassist. Benjamin focuses on sourcing, appraising, structuring and executing new investments as well as working alongside Founders and Management teams post-investment, and currently sits on the Boards of Branchspace and Mable Therapy”

 

Mike Dinsdale, Director M&A Advisory, Cavendish 

Mike is a Director at Cavendish, having joined the firm in June 2016. He has over 7 years of cross-border Human Capital and Technology M&A experience, predominantly acting for private equity backed and owner-managed businesses. Recent transactions include the sale of Soundbite Learning to Access Group, TicTrac to Dialogue Health Technologies and Vero Screening to Accurate Background. Mike started his career at Deloitte, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2015. He graduated with First Class Honours in Economics & Management from Southampton University.
