Location: Hybrid working consisting of a mix of remote working, event venues as needed, and a minimum of 2 days per week at our Head Office in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

The Training Events Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Event Coordinators ensuring the successful delivery of our comprehensive CPD training programme.

 

This is a new role to HFL Education and will allow the successful candidate to review, develop and implement new ways of working within the Training & Events Team. The role will have overall responsibility of planning and delivering high-quality CPD training programmes for schools within Hertfordshire and nationally.

 

In post, you would be responsible for leading and developing your team through highly effective coaching and leadership. The role involves a particular focus on developing new ways of working within HFL Education and will work closely with the Conferences and Key Programmes Event Manager.

 

The successful candidate will have experience of delegate or event co-ordination and people management, with the ability to identify and develop efficiencies in ways of working, whilst ensuring and maintaining the highest standards of customer service and event delivery. You will have a keen interest in training and events, with knowledge of both face-to-face and digital event delivery, and be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

 

The events team are a key success factor in HFL Education achieving its strategic business plan. Supporting over 800 events and 30,000 delegates annually, the team is pivotal in supporting advisers to deliver outstanding events.

Our ‘working from anywhere’ approach provides colleagues the opportunity to work flexibly in line with their role requirements. This consists of remote working and a minimum 2 days per week in our Head Office in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, alongside work based in conference or event locations as needed. As there is a permanent home working element to this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped for home working.
