PRESS INFORMATION

Web demonstrations enable teachers to see new products in action without even leaving their desk. This term, education software specialist Crick Software will be hosting a series of free 45 minute ‘webinars’ to help schools find out more about its award-winning range of literacy support tools.

New for 2012, the company has launched Clicker 6, the latest version of its popular primary word processor. Teachers who are unfamiliar with the software can register to attend an ‘Introduction to Clicker’ webinar on May 17th to find out more.

Crick will also be hosting a ‘Supporting Literacy with Clicker 6’ session on May 22nd, designed to guide teachers working in special needs environments through the process of creating activities tailored to their pupils’ individual needs.

Those interested in learning more about WriteOnline, Crick’s writing support tool for secondary school students, can sign up for the final webinar of the term, ‘Getting the most out of your pupil premium with WriteOnline’. The session, due to be held on June 19th, will demonstrate how WriteOnline can be used to support writing across the school.

Each session will be held from 15:45 – 16:30. Teachers will simply need to register their interest with Crick, who will then send them an email with details concerning how to log in and participate.
