NetSupport love to keep adding new features and enhancements to classroom.cloud (the award-winning classroom management, IT management and online safety software solution), to make it even easier to engage and protect students in online lessons and manage school devices.

So, what’s new?

Safeguarding/Online Safety staff

Students can now report their concerns (Student ‘Report a concern’) by sending a message in confidence to a trusted member of staff. (Windows/Chrome Students only).

You can select staff to be ‘Concern contacts’ and they will automatically receive an email to confirm the concern logged by a student classroom.cloud. You can also choose additional staff members to receive the emails who aren’t a primary ‘Concern contact,’ such as those who might need to monitor the issues being reported by students, such as a Headteacher or School Principal.

In addition, the filtering of Teams groups has been enhanced, making it easier to find the group you would like to monitor for online safety purposes.

Teachers

You can now filter your list of classes (in the My Classes tab) by last used, subject and connection type, so it’s easier to find and launch your selected class.

IT teams

To make the set-up process and maintenance of classroom.cloud even more straightforward, you can now resend the user invite email in bulk and delete users in bulk – plus, use the new ‘Change status’ button to disable an account, but with the option to reactivate the account if needed.

Meanwhile, enhanced Microsoft integration gives you the ability to pull in Teams classes and student photos, so you don’t have to re-create them in classroom.cloud.
