Moodle partner Titus Learning shortlisted in two categories for the 2019 Bett Awards

The finalists for the 2019 Bett Awards have been announced, and Titus Learning has been included in two categories, building on the success of their single nomination last year.

Bett is the first industry show of the year in the education technology landscape, bringing together hundreds of companies and tens of thousands of attendees from the global education community, that come together to celebrate, find inspiration and discuss the future of education, as well as the role technology and innovation plays in enabling all educators and learners to thrive.

The organisers of the exhibition describe the Bett awards as “a celebration of the inspiring creativity and innovation that can be found throughout technology for education. The winners are seen to have excelled in ICT provision and support for nurseries, schools, colleges and special schools alike with a clear focus on what works in the classroom.”

Exporter of the Year

For the second year in a row, Titus Learning has been nominated as a finalist in the “Exporter of the Year” category. This recognises their massive increase in exports over the past 12 months, trading in 19 countries in total, and this year alone, welcoming new clients from Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, USA, India, South Korea, Singapore, Ireland, and Egypt.

The Titus Learning team also traveled extensively in support of their export activities – over the past year having exhibited or presented at a total of 12 educational events outside the UK, including in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Macau and Thailand, as well as on the Department for International Trade stand at the Bett Show.

Company of the Year (less than ÂŁ3m turnover)

For the first time, Titus Learning has also been shortlisted for the “Company of the Year” award. The company was required to demonstrate the many ways in which their bespoke learning platforms benefit schools across the globe, the innovative nature of the custom development work they undertake to tailor the technology to schools’ needs and the outstanding levels of customer service they provide.

Titus Learning director and co-founder Seb Francis commented on the nominations:

“We’re really pleased to have built on the success of last year to increase our presence at this year’s awards. Titus Learning is always seeking to push the boundaries of what’s possible with e-learning and stay abreast of the latest e-learning trends, and we’re delighted that that has been reflected in our nominations.

It’s important to point out that as well as our brilliant team here at Titus, we’re very grateful to those clients of ours who took time out of their busy schedules to provide case studies and testimonials in support of our entries – thanks for saying such nice things!”
