Tes is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the second annual Tes Awards for International Schools 2025.
The awards build on the success and prestige of the Tes Schools Awards in the UK, dubbed the ‘Oscars of education’ and celebrate the exceptional commitment, innovation, and achievements of teachers and support staff in international schools worldwide.
The awards are a fantastic opportunity for international schools to come together in one inclusive global event, to raise their profile on the world stage and gain international recognition for their hard work and success throughout the academic year.
Entry is free and open to all international schools outside the UK delivering a British education programme.
The panel of judges for the 2025 awards include school leaders, experts, and education researchers from across the regions. The judging process will reflect the same objectivity, professionalism, and high standards as the UK Tes Schools Awards.
This year, the awards are being supported by BSME, COBIS, The Department for Business and Trade (DBT), ECIS, FOBISIA, and International Baccalaureate.
International Editor and chair of the judges of the Tes Awards for International Schools, Dan Worth, said: “Last year’s awards showcased the remarkable standards delivered by international schools – places where excellence in education goes hand in hand with meaningful contributions to local communities. We’re excited to once again celebrate the innovation, dedication, and transformative impact international schools continue to achieve around the world.”
Colin Bell, CEO of COBIS, said: “International schools continue to set the benchmark for innovation, inclusion, and excellence in education. The Tes Awards for International Schools offer a powerful platform to celebrate the remarkable achievements of educators and school communities across the globe. COBIS is proud to support this initiative that recognises the very best in British international education.”
Debra Forsyth, CEO and Director of BSME, said: “At BSME, we see firsthand every day the dedication and creativity that educators bring to their classrooms every day. The Tes Awards for International Schools shine a spotlight on this innovative work, honouring those who go above and beyond to inspire learners and transform lives. We’re delighted to partner with Tes in this celebration of global educational excellence.”
A shortlist of finalists will be announced on 10 November 2025, and the winners will be revealed on 9 December 2025.
