One of the most important responsibilities of BESA members is the election of representatives to our Executive Council.

The Council plays a vital role in directing BESA’s activities and ensuring that the interests of members are fully represented. It is made up of individuals from companies across the membership who volunteer their time and expertise to support the vision and strategy of the organisation.

Voting details

  • Only Full Members who are fully paid at the time of voting are eligible to cast a vote.
  • Every Full Member company has a number of votes which correspond with the number of vacancies on council.
  • Votes can be split between candidates or allocated to one.
  • It is up to the primary contact from each company to decide internally how votes will be allocated.
  • Only one ballot per company will be accepted.
  • Completed ballots must be received by 12pm on Friday 10 October.

Full members have been contacted with the voting link and candidate pitches.

If you have not received this information or have any questions about the voting process, please contact the BESA Membership team at members@besa.org.uk

Even if you do not know those standing personally, it is important to take part and have your say in how your trade association will be run next year.

Results will be announced at the BESA AGM at One Great George Street in Westminster.

Thank you for helping shape BESA’s future.
