Find out about BESA launching a new research focused on the international schools market!

This report launch webinar explores the key findings from BESA’s new International Schools Market Report, providing members with timely insight into how international schools make purchasing decisions and how supplier expectations are changing. With global uncertainty continuing to affect trade, the session focuses on what the data tells us about risk, opportunity, and evolving demand across regions, helping members interpret the findings and understand what they mean in practice for international growth.

What you’ll leave with:

We want members to leave with greater clarity, stronger market understanding, and confidence in how to use the findings to inform their international activity.

Market intelligence: A clear understanding of how international schools purchase, assess suppliers, and make budget decisions across regions.

Procurement insight: Visibility of who holds influence, approval, and budget within international schools and how this varies by curriculum and geography.

Changing expectations: Insight into how supplier expectations are evolving, including digital provision, service levels, and engagement methods.

Risk and opportunity context: An understanding of how factors such as Brexit, tariffs, currency volatility, and supply chain risk are influencing supplier choice.

Who is the webinar for:

This session is designed for BESA members with an interest in the international schools sector who want evidence‑led insight to inform decision‑making and future planning.

  • BESA members supplying, or looking to supply, international schools
  • Commercial, sales, and business development teams focused on overseas markets
  • Members wanting a clearer understanding of international procurement behaviour
  • Senior leaders responsible for international growth or risk management

If you want more clarity before taking your next step into the international schools market, this webinar is for you.

More about the report:

The report, to be published on 9 April 2026, examines the purchasing behaviours of international schools worldwide. Drawing on data from schools across all major regions, it provides insight into how procurement decisions are made and how supplier expectations are evolving.

The report covers:

  • Who holds budget, influence and approval across regions and curricula
  • How international schools discover and assess suppliers
  • The impact of Brexit, tariffs, currency volatility and supply‑chain risk on supplier choice
  • Shifts towards digital provision, SaaS, remote demonstrations and service‑level expectations
  • How perceptions of British suppliers vary by product category and region

The findings combine evidence from large‑scale surveys, in‑depth interviews with senior leaders, and focus groups across the international schools sector. Together, these insights are intended to support suppliers seeking to grow or protect their international presence.
