Member Only Event | Free for MembersAhead of the May elections in Scotland, BESA will host a member briefing on education policy developments and priorities north of the border.
The session will review the education proposals in the main parties’ manifestos and offer an overview of how the Scottish education system is structured, including key differences from England.
Hosted by Peter Doyle, BESA’s Policy and Research Manager, and Anna Wolffe, Parliamentary Affairs Consultant, the briefing will consider what the Scottish policy landscape means for education suppliers. The session will conclude with a Q&A for members.

Peter Doyle, Policy & Research Manager, BESA
Peter represents the interests of BESA members to parliamentarians and officials across Government departments, working on various policy issues across the association. His passion for the education sector developed while working for a BESA member, where he contributed to the development and implementation of EdTech products and curricula for the Primary Sector. In addition to his professional work, Peter volunteers as a Governor at a federation of local primary schools in East London.
