That schools are increasingly being forced to use Amazon wishlists to persuade parents to stump up the cash for much-needed classroom resources, as reported in last week’s Schools Week, comes as little surprise to us at the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA). With school funding being cut in real-terms, resources budgets are one of the areas of a school’s budget being hardest hit.
