We believe schools deserve peace of mind when they buy products from BESA members. That’s why we ensure every company that applies to become a BESA member fulfils our rigorous membership criteria. Below is a quick checklist and the full criteria can be viewed in 'How Membership Works'.
- Supply the education market for a minimum of two years
- Be able to demonstrate profitability
- Comply with the BESA Code of Practice
- Have a UK base and be either a UK registered company or firm based solely in the UK
- Be subject to normal trading arrangements and commercial in outlook and operations
BESA’s Launchpad Service supports UK-incorporated start-ups and SMEs across all sectors of the education supplies market. Becoming part of our Launchpad community provides you with year-round access to first-class training seminars; weekly insights and policy updates, quarterly invitations to attend key stakeholder networking events, and so much more.
- Fulfil BESA's membership criteria excepting the two-year criterion and being in profit
- You own, or work for, a UK-incorporated company
- Your company has recently started to supply or intend to supply the education market
- You agree to abide by the BESA Code of Practice
- Your company isn't a subsidiary of a parent-company that would be eligible for full membership
