BESA is thrilled that Executive Council member Nick Madhavji has been made an MBE for services to education, business and to charity.

Nick Madhavji began his journey as an educational supplier in 2001 when, in response to his school struggling with ICT provision, he founded Joskos Solutions – an ICT provider specialising in delivering impactful solutions for schools. Since launching from his former classroom over twenty years ago, Joskos has gone on to become a nationally recognised multi-award-winning supplier for ICT Provision.

Nick Madhavji was diagnosed with Dyslexia in late life and has made it his mission to work with students with learning impairments and support them into education. Part of this is his work with the armed forces, for which he had provided fully funded training courses, coaching, mentoring and moral support.

Nick Madhavji became a member of BESAs Executive Council in 2019 and continues to be a positive force for change within the industry. The BESA team thanks Nick for his dedication to suppliers and the wider industry and congratulates him on his much-deserved recognition in the year of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
