St John’s School & College chose to have their colourful logo integrated within Heckmondwike FB’s matting at the entrance to the college, where it will be used every day by learners and visitors. They also chose to use their prize within their business centre’s communal area, corridors and stairs, as well as three of the offices, selecting moonlight from Heckmondwike’s Supacord range.
Mark Hughes, Principal/Chief Executive of St John’s School & College, said: “It was a great surprise to receive this fantastic prize. The matting with our logo will create an instant impression at the entrance to the college and the new carpet in the business centre will make a very big difference to all who use it.”
St John’s School & College is a special educational needs (SEN) school and specialist college that provides education, care and medical therapy to young people aged 7 to 25. The school welcomes learners who have a wide range of complex learning disabilities, as well as autism and related autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) and young people who have special needs resulting from behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD).
Supacord is a very popular flooring choice in the education sector as its tough, fibre bonded construction means it is strong enough to withstand heavy footfall, whilst retaining its appearance. The durability of Supacord carpet helps schools and colleges make their budgets go further by providing a durable yet attractive solution.
Supacord, which is available in 42 different colours, has unique design capabilities since it does not ravel or fray which means that it can be cut on site to create stylish and engaging flooring designs.
