BESA is proud to announce Lewis Bronze, CEO of BESA member organisation Espresso Education has been recognised by the Queen in her 2013 birthday honours.

Bronze has been honoured with an MBE for ‘Services to Education’, which recognises his commitment to education over many years. Launching his career at the BBC as the producer of Newsround and editor of Blue Peter, he later turned his attention to pioneering the use of digital video and e-learning in schools.

The innovative Espresso Primary service, founded in 1997, is used every day in schools across the UK.

Caroline Wright, director at BESA comments: “We are all so pleased that Lewis has been recognised in such an appropriate way. BESA members commit to a code of practice to ensure the delivery of appropriate and high quality resources into the education sector. Lewis’ commitment to the education sector is a testament to excellence in UK education resources.”
