The British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) and its staff have been judged as finalists, in three categories, in the annual Association Excellence Awards.

The panel of more than 25 judges comprising CEO’s from UK Associations, works each year to recognise excellence in professional and trade associations.

BESA, the trade association supporting education resource suppliers in the UK, has been shortlisted for the Best Association Newsletter and Overall Best UK Association award categories. Director general of BESA, Dominic Savage has also been judged to be a finalist in the prestigious Association Leadership Award.

Caroline Wright, director of BESA said, “At BESA we work hard to develop a strong and constructive relationship between schools, the Government and suppliers. This productive liaison has proved to help educators deliver learning in line with Government policy. This positive and evolving tripartite affiliation, has been led by our director general Dominic Savage, who is respected by governments across the world. We are pleased that our efforts, success and Dominic’s leadership have been recognised by the Award’s judges.”

The winners of each category will be announced at the Association of Excellence Awards 2015 Ceremony taking place on 27 February 2015 at the QEII Conference Centre, London.
