Judged to be the very best that the education sector has to offer, the winners of the annual Education Resources Awards were celebrating their achievement last week.

The Education Resources Awards gala dinner event, held last week, honoured the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, educational establishments and the most dedicated members of the industry.

In its seventeenth successful year, the Education Resources Awards are organised by the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), the trade association representing educational suppliers in the UK sector, and Brilliant Marketing. Committing to a code of best business practice and high quality resources, 63 per cent of the winners were (BESA) members.

All winners were once again selected by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals, including many classroom teachers. From the highest number of entries to date, the judges described the entries as ‘exemplary.’

Caroline Wright, director of BESA, comments: “We are very aware, from events such as Bett and the Education Show, that thousands of educators visit the UK each year to review and buy products from our suppliers because of the quality on offer. We have had many years to get it right. Lessons have been learned over the years, but it was clear from the entries this year that the industry has every right to celebrate its success and hard work.”
