Contact Group announces new products: Call Parents Cloud and low cost online Parental Payment system


Contact Group has announced two brand new products for schools in the form of a new, low cost, Parental Payment solution and a new version of Call Parents called Call Parents Cloud, both of which will be launched in Spring 2012.

Call Parents Cloud combines the existing Call Parents and Truancy Call parental communication software that schools currently use but is web based, which means that it can be accessed at any time, from multiple points in the school or even remotely, outside of school. As it links to a school’s MIS system, information is always in real time and accurate.

This new and improved system is very simple to use and offers reporting on a number of new features; absences, lates, detentions, behaviour and achievements. It also presents the information in a graphic format on the ‘Dashboard’ for staff to easily view.

Contact Group is also showcasing a new, online Parental Payment solution, which is designed to help school to manage the collection of payments from parents, saving them time and money in administrative costs. It also allows schools to set up an online shop to sell items such as school uniform and event tickets, which parents can then purchase online, with payments safely transferred directly into schools’ bank accounts. When used in conjunction with School Fund Manager from Pebble, fully automated reporting is carried out in real time so any monies outstanding can be easily viewed at a glance. Parents will be able to access their account by logging in online, where they can settle any outstanding bills for school trips or top up dinner money payments.
