Joskos are delighted to announce that international banking executive and serial entrepreneur Gregory Testerman has joined the board to support the existing leadership team. The appointment comes a few months after Fergal Roche, founder of The Key (which supplies actionable knowledge and management tools to over 15,000 schools across the UK) joined in the same capacity. This is part of CEO and Founder Nick

Madhavji’s strategy to create a board of directors to assist and challenge the leadership in the implementation of their exciting education-focused growth strategy.

Greg has had an outstanding thirty-year career in global corporate and investment banking, including a specialization in ESG and Corporate Sustainability. He currently serves on a number of boards, in the UK and internationally, and has a wealth of understanding in leading companies and providing board level support.

Nick Madhavji shared his thoughts on the appointment:

‘Greg is someone I have known and admired for over a decade and now is the right time for him to join Joskos in a more defined capacity. Greg has always been a fan of Joskos for the impact we have on the lives of learners through the work we do with our schools. I know his financial and business acumen will be really valuable during this next exciting phase of our growth. We are looking to be more involved in acquisitions and mergers as part of our growth strategy, and this is a field where Greg has a proven track record.’

Greg Testerman commented:

‘I have followed closely Joskos’ remarkable progress for more than ten years and have been impressed by its important contribution to the development of students throughout the UK. Under Nick Madhavji’s leadership, and with a top-notch executive team, Joskos is well positioned for a new phase of growth. I look forward to contributing to the achievement of Joskos’ ambitious goals over the coming years.’

About Nick Madhavji:
Nick is a highly successful entrepreneur and the founder of Joskos Solutions, a national, award-winning education technology company he founded in his former classroom in response to the school struggling with ICT provision. Since that day in 2001, Joskos Solutions has focused entirely on education and delivering impactful ICT solutions to schools across the UK. Nick’s companies have contributed in excess of £150m to the UK economy over the last 10 years, and have created hundreds of employment opportunities.

Being dyslexic, Nick’s very own education journey was challenging. However, his passion for finding solutions, being proactive and working with people to make amazing things happen built a strong foundation for an education business that has genuinely disrupted the way technology services are delivered, with a more proactive stance that always places learners first.
Nick is an Executive Council Member for the British Educational Suppliers Association, sits on the board of a number of National Education Charities, advises Schools and trusts across the UK, and is a regular keynote speaker on educational, employment, Armed Forces and technology topics.
