NetSupport today announced that its newest solution for classroom management and online safety, classroom.cloud, will now connect to ClassLink (the leader in single sign-on, class rostering and learning resource analytics), to integrate Student Information System (SIS) environments via ClassLink’s Roster Server.

classroom.cloud provides essential cloud-based classroom management, teaching and safeguarding tools to help support teaching in classrooms and with remote learners. It’s the perfect solution to deliver blended learning in any environment.

The collaboration with ClassLink to integrate SIS environments into classroom.cloud via ClassLink’s Roster Server means that schools are now empowered to work even more effectively. Once synced with OneRoster, classroom.cloud teachers can select their school and access their SIS data (lessons and required students) instantly. Not only does this new feature help teachers to save time when setting up their technology-led lessons, but also it offers technicians more flexibility when connecting to student devices.

Al Kingsley, CEO of NetSupport, explains: “Saving teachers time and hassle by making it possible for them to access their lesson details from anywhere in the school makes the task so much easier and means that teaching time is enhanced – not to mention making classroom.cloud even easier to deploy, scale and manage for the IT teams. With integrations already available for Google Classroom and Microsoft School Data Sync, teaming up with ClassLink made perfect sense with their experience and wide range of features to streamline classroom edtech use”.

ClassLink’s VP of Interoperability, Patrick Devanney, comments: “ClassLink and classroom.cloud are a natural fit, we’re both working to improve efficiency for teachers, technicians, and students alike. This partnership further supports ClassLink’s mission to remove barriers to access and return instructional time to the classroom.”
