As schools close for the summer, new research from RM Technology and the Digital Poverty Alliance reveals the stark reality of the UK’s digital divide. A study of over 2,000 low-income parents and 600 teachers exposes a “digital blackout” that disconnects children from learning once they leave the school gates.

The findings underscore the urgent need for a coordinated response. RM Technology and the Digital Poverty Alliance are calling for action that goes beyond simply providing devices, focusing on the sustainable support, training, and infrastructure needed to bridge the gap permanently.

In partnership with the Digital Poverty Alliance, RM Technology also presses play on a powerful video case study on bridging the digital divide for pupils across the UK. Watch the full video here: The Constellation Trust
