Growing Leeds based IT support firm, School ICT Services Limited, has acquired new premises in Swillington to accommodate its expansion.

Supported by a six figure funding deal from Royal Bank of Scotland, the firm has relocated from its previous home on Mortec Office Park to a new 3,500 square foot property at The Courtyard, Swillington. The new property will provide the firm with a brand new training facility as well as office space for its team of 22 employees.

Headed up by Directors Steven Hutton, Daniel Preston and Mark Blackwood, School ICT Services Limited was formed by a team of nine individuals in April 2009 following their redundancy from a previous employer. The firm is a specialist provider of MIS services and SIMS support and offers support, training, consultancy and technical services to a variety of Schools, Academies and Local Authorities throughout the UK.

Growth at the company has been strong and consistent during the last seven years, with customer numbers rising from a total of 70 to 350 different organisations at an average rate of 20% per annum.

Steven Hutton, Director of School ICT Services Limited, said: “We are really pleased with our new premises. They have provided us with plenty of space and will continue to accommodate the company as we grow. We have also been able to create a new training facility in the building, providing us with a dedicated space to host in-house training sessions.

“Lindsay Crooks from Royal Bank of Scotland has been extremely supportive of our move and it has been great to work alongside such a proactive relationship manager. In addition to the funding we have received, Lindsay has provided us with plenty of guidance throughout the acquisition process helping to make things move along smoothly.”

Lindsay Crooks, Senior Relationship Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “I am pleased that we have been able to support Steve and the team at School ICT Services Limited. The new premises have provided the company with excellent training facilities and will accommodate the firm as it continues to grow.”
