Tes is once again leading the charge on school safety with Safeguarding Awareness Week 2025, taking place from 19–25 May. This global initiative shines a spotlight on safeguarding in schools, providing free resources, expert insights, and interactive activities to help educators protect students – especially in an increasingly digital world.

This year’s theme, ‘Empowering and protecting students in a digital world,‘ addresses the growing challenges children face online, with a focus on equipping schools with the tools and confidence they need to respond effectively.

Highlights include:

  • The launch of the Safeguarding Report 2025
  • A free CPD-accredited online safety course bundle
  • A safeguarding assembly pack for KS1–KS3
  • Interactive activities like Wear a Hat to School Day
  • A live expert panel session unpacking key research insights
