Phonic Books Ltd

Phonic Books was founded in 2006 by three reading specialists who were passionate about teaching children how to read. Using their expertise, they developed truly decodable books for younger children and for older, struggling readers. Decodable books are controlled texts that give pupils an extra opportunity to practise the phonics skills they have learned in the classroom. Our structured phonics books develop the five pillars of learning to read: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension and accompanying activity books support pupils who need extra practice at each level.

Phonic Books’ series for beginner readers introduce only a few sounds and letters at a time to build reading confidence and fluency. Catch-up series for older readers ages 8–14+ are for pupils with gaps in their phonics skills and reading knowledge. They have action-packed storylines and age-appropriate illustrations to engage older readers.

Easy to use in the classroom, Phonic Books helps to build solid reading foundations for every pupil.
