UK EdTech companies set to showcase educational excellence at ISTE 2017

On 25-28 June, 18 UK education companies will be attending one of the most comprehensive EdTech conferences in the world to showcase their world-leading products.

Supported by a Department for International Trade (DIT) grant, the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) will be bringing 18 UK education suppliers to the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) 2017 Conference and Exhibition

The global event is expected to attract 15,000 participants from across the U.S. and over 75 countries around the world. Distributors, teachers, investors, will be attending – a mix of public and private sector stakeholders with whom to network and create partnerships.

The UK companies will also be participating in a range of sessions at the event. They will bring their expertise to discuss and share best practices about ISTE Standards, which provide a framework for amplifying and transforming digital age learning, teaching and leading.

Caroline Wright, BESA’s Director General, will be accompanying the UK suppliers. She said:

“We are looking forward to bringing the UK’s long and rich experience and expertise in EdTech to the ISTE Conference. Last year was the first time BESA initiated the UK Pavilion at ISTE, and it was a real success for the UK EdTech companies attending. Therefore, we’ve returned with a larger pavilion this year, so that more companies will be able to benefit from this major international event. Half of the companies that will be showcasing their resources this week will be attending ISTE for the first time, and we can expect the same, if not more, success! I am ever so proud to see our members and other UK education suppliers crossing the pond to engage with U.S. educators in this way.”
