The word is spreading about the Resource Our Schools campaign across the education sector and we are very pleased to gain support from Lord Watson of Invergowrie, the Labour Education Spokesperson in the House of Lords, who said:

“Funding will be the most important issue facing schools in the years ahead. Without the necessary resources to ensure enough teachers, teaching materials and support staff, children’s education will be damaged, in some cases irreparably.

No matter which party forms the government after the election the proposed national funding formula must be scrapped and replaced by a system that ensures not one school loses out and in future school budgets are protected against inflation on a funding per-pupil basis.”
