Educational Toy & learning aids company Learning Resources announces the appointment of a new Educational Trade Sales Manager for its UK Education Business.

Louise Benstead, who is joining the company at the end of August, will manage all of the key UK educational trade accounts in a move aligned to support the strategic development of the core areas of the business both in the UK and across its international territories.

Mrs Benstead, who was appointed last week by Head of Sales – Helene Vernis, will be based locally to the companies HQ in Kings Lynn, Norfolk and brings to the role, a wealth of experience in account management within the education sector across the UK.

Ms Vernis said ā€˜I am delighted to welcome Louise to the team ā€“ our business is continually evolving and as we grow and develop across our international territories, we wanted to ensure that we continue to deliver exceptional account management to our valued UK education trade customers, which is an integral part of our business. Louise brings a great deal of expertise and knowledge which will enable her to deliver well for us within this important roleā€™.

Learning Resources UK Ltd, which was established in 1994, on behalf of Learning Resources Inc, based in Chicago, Illinois, develops and sells educational Toys, Games and Learning aids, within the UK and across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, for both the Education and Retail sales channels. The company was awarded (ERA) Educational Resources Exporter of the Year in March 2015.
