China is the largest K-12 education system in the world with over 230 million students and 12 million teachers. China's government continue to increase the education funding in different provinces. Since the release of the new two-child policy in 2015, the number of early learning and K-12 students will continue to increase. How can British companies break into this huge market?Ā

For any foreign education company, language can be a big barrier when entering the Chinese education market. Alex Chan, Secretary-General of Hong Kong Educational Equipment Industry Association (HKEEIA) hosts this seminar, sharing market insight, information on distributing and political factors to consider before exporting into China. Alex will cover other issues, such as:

  • Ensuring successful localisation of your products and servicesĀ
  • Sensitive elements to consider
  • Exhibitions to attend to have great exposure to the Chinese market
  • Procurement procedureĀ

The running order of this event is as follows:

11.00-12.00: 'An overview of the China education market' by Alex ChanĀ

12.00-12.30: 'Opportunities for UK educational suppliers in Hong Kong and China' by Jonathan Goold, International Director, Learning & Teaching Expo, Hong Kong
