The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25 May. It ushers in a legal framework for the storage and management of personal data. It also introduces a new enforcement mechanism which can mean large fines for organisations who do not comply. Luke Gittos and James Greenword will introduce the principles of the GPDR and discuss practical steps that organisations can take to ensure compliance.

Luke is a lawyer at Hughmans Solicitors with extensive experience in compliance and regulatory investigations.

James is Head of Business Systems at ITRS and has extensive experience in data management and compliance.
