We are delighted to announce our brand new seminar 'How to choose your International Partner' which will be hosted by Qingling Guo - International Trade Adviser at the Department for International Trade.

Agent, Distributor, JV own office?

Choosing your international partner is of paramount importance as they will be the people representing your product.

Your perfect business partner should provide a cost effective route to market for manufacturers. The best partnerships bring a detailed working knowledge of markets and business practices, as well as contacts and relationships – both of which the manufacturer may not possess. Selecting the right partner can bring enormous benefits and value to a manufacturer.

For small companies and even more for start-ups, business volumes are not high enough to justify investing in a sales force and that's where good partnerships with specialised practical knowledge and know how comes in.

This seminar will give you an insight on all types of business partners and also advice on the help that is available from the Department for International Trade (DIT) to assist you on your journey to export.
