This annual conference, delivered by BESA in partnership with EDUCATE, will include sessions including applying an evidence base to the international market, insights from the BESA export SIG and how BESA can help you with international exhibitions, growing your online sales internationally and selling to international schools.

Session: Selling to international schools

Selling to schools always presents a challenge, but this session will explore in more detail the particular issues faced by companies wishing to sell internationally. Jason Gould presents his international schools research and discusses it with a panel of respondents.

Session: Applying an evidence base to the international market

This session, inspired by the UCL-led EDUCATE project, will examine how ensuring that companies can back up their claims with evidence is vital, especially when taking new companies overseas for the first time.

Session: Insights from the BESA export SIG & how can BESA help?

Head of Events at BESA, William Prieto-Parra and the chair and vice-chair of the Export SIG, Christine Major and Steve Whitley talk about the opportunities and challenges they have seen discussed in the SIG and how they could be relevant to companies starting to export. You probably knew that BESA distributes grants for companies to attend international events but in this session Head of Events, William Prieto-Parra, will take us through all of the various ways BESA can help you to exhibit.

With limited places available at the conference, bookings will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis and will be restricted to two delegates per company. Please complete a separate booking for each attendee.

BUS: Nos 11, 24, 148, 211 stop right in front of our building. Other bus routes pass nearby. Visit Transport for London for further information.
UNDERGROUND: 1 Victoria Street in walking distance of Victoria, St James' Park and Westminster stations. Check the TFL website to plan your journey.
RAIL: Victoria, Waterloo and Charing Cross stations are 10 to 20 minutes away by foot or by tube. Schedules on National Rail website.
CAR: Parking is available at sites in Horseferry Road and Abingdon Street.
