In this exclusive talk for BESA, Amber Jardine (Investment Director and Head of TwinklHive) will give EdTech founders an overview of everything they need to do to become pitch ready. Amber will use her experience supporting founders to fundraise and reviewing many hundreds of pitches to take attendees through the key elements of what makes a successful investor pitch and what goes into a great pitch deck, including tips for getting investors to act with urgency and pay attention to your business. Amber will also illustrate everything founders need to prepare in advance of investor conversations - and what they should be thinking about 6 months before a fundraise. Relating to the current investment landscape, Amber will share her insights into the trends she is seeing among investors and prepare founders for the expectations that investors have when approaching EdTech companies.

Amber Jardine is an Investment Director and the Head of TwinklHive, the investment arm of Twinkl, a global digital educational publisher. Managing a portfolio of 33 early-stage companies, Amber's expertise spans the investment lifecycle, including company due diligence and all aspects of fundraising, from offer and term to exit exploration. Amber is passionate about supporting early stage startups to grow and scale, with a specialism in supporting EdTech companies.
