Social media has become one of the most prominent sources of information and news, making it an invaluable asset to businesses.

For organisations working with schools, this is even more crucial, as there is a wide network of educators and teachers active on the platform, forming a captive community for you to target.

This seminar, delivered by Mango PLMR, will briefly cover the basics of social media, before looking closely at higher level strategies for increasing your audience and their engagement with your channels. This seminar will suit anyone who is currently using social media within their organisation but feels they could be using it a lot more effectively. Leading the seminar will be:

Liz Moore
Liz is a Digital Account Manager, specialising in content creation, blogging and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). She supports across all digital activities, including website development, social media, email marketing and film. She has run a number of presentations for clients, looking into basic and advanced social media practices, and how to make the best of a brand’s online presence.

Jasmin De Vivo
Jasmin is a senior account manager with a wealth of experience in PR, social media and communications, working on a number of clients in the education sector, including not-for-profit organisations, technology providers and global education initiatives.

With experience of both in-house and agency PR across the technology and not-for-profit sectors, Jasmin specialises in account management, copywriting, social media management and regularly liaises with regional, national and sector-specific publications to ensure client’s requirements and needs are always met to a high standard.

Rachel Womack
As a director, Rachel co-leads the Mango team at PLMR and works on strategy across all clients, planning and delivering PR campaigns in education and related sectors.

Rachel joined Mango in 2009, initially working on PR campaigns for education events, educational publishers and non-profit education associations. She then led the teams for events such as Bett, the biggest education technology event in the world and the Education World Forum (EWF), the largest annual gathering of education and skills ministers.
