XcitED is a peripheral event to Slush - a gathering of 25,000 curious minds, including 4,000 startups and 2,000 investors taking place in Helsinki on November 21-22. Slush addresses the hot issues around the education ecosystem and the role of startups in it. Taking place on November 20, XcitED - the education side event of Slush, takes place in Otaniemi, the largest hub of high technology, innovation and business hub in Finland and Northern Europe. It features a mix of world class research organisations, academic institutes and over 800 companies from start ups to multinational corporations operating in a compact 2 × 2 km campus twice selected by the EU as one of the most innovative regions in Europe.

The Department for International Trade are delighted to be supporting the show, allowing UK companies to attend and exhibit for as little as £250 + VAT.

• Arranged meetings with education development decision makers in the largest cities in Finland of the capital region
• Arranged meeting with Education Alliance Finland (EAF) (EAF is the leading pedagogical elevator company that works with EdTech Impact)
• Arranged meeting with xEdu accelerator program; their current cohorts and alumni companies 

Wednesday 20 November

• 2 tickets to XcitED 
• Round-tall table stand in a prime location, space for a banner and electricity (if required)
• The possibility to pitch on the start-up stage of XcitED (4 minutes)
