Contract: Permanent – fulltime at 37 hours per week, 52.142 weeks per year

Salary: Band 4 – FTE £22,733 – £26,500 p.a.

 

Location: Currently fully remote due to Covid-19. Post Covid-19 restrictions there will be an opportunity to work up to 2 days in the Head Office – Stevenage.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to broaden and build on their experience in events to join a bright and friendly team.

This role sits within the Marketing and Events team and has responsibility for key events from concept to completion, planning and delivery of a variety of programmes of training events and conferences, including the annual Herts for Learning company conference.

The post holder will have responsibility of all aspects of their events, from co-ordinating event logistics, supplier and venue management, speaker liaison and delegate invitations for both on-site and virtual delivery.

 

The successful candidate will have a passion for providing the very best customer experience, end-to-end experience in event planning and have a proactive approach with a willingness to learn. Having an interest or knowledge of the education sector will be an advantage but is not essential.

 

The team are currently working remotely due to Covid-19, and where possible they are providing onsite event support to their Advisers in line with Government guidelines. Post Covid-19 regulations, you will have the opportunity to work in the office for a maximum of 2 days per week, if desired. As there is a permanent home working element to this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped for home working. The ability to reach different locations by car will also be essential. If you drive then a full driving licence and appropriate car insurance will be required.
