Developer to join our friendly team here at Findel. You will work with existing and new suppliers
to develop innovative new resources for the school and nursery marketplace, focusing on
those which meet the learning outcome of the child.

Findel is an eCommerce educational resources supplier in the UK and International schools and
nurseries marketplace. We own several general and specialist educational brands Hope, GLS,
Davies Sports, Philip Harris, Spa4Schools, A-Z and LDA.

Your Role:
Some of the responsibilities of this exciting opportunity are:
o Develop an inspirational range of new products from concept to profitable sales, that
supports teachers/practitioners to deliver the curriculum/Early Years foundation framework.
o Work with the Buyer to develop a structured research programme to assess future customer
needs; this will involve spending time in the marketplace.
o Develop product ROIs, working within budget constraints and forecasting levels.
o Manage the budgetary/costing process for all projects in the pipeline.
o Provide clear visibility of the project process and milestones, timelines and budgets.
o Work in partnership with the Merchandising team to manage stock in-take and sales
forecasts.
o Work alongside the QA team to ensure that products are compliant with all the relevant
quality standards.
o Identify products within the existing range that can be re-developed to improve their sales
performance.
o Contribute to product launches, working alongside Marketing, Digital & Social.

About You:
We are ideally looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
o Previous experience in a similar NPD role in a commercial environment, with experience of
delivering revenue generating and profitable products to targeted audiences.
o Management of critical path and process is essential.
o Ideally a strong understanding of the curriculum, UK education market and current
teaching methods, or willingness to learn this.
o Ability to manage complex and varied stakeholders.
o Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to influence others and
work collaboratively with other functions.
o Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
o Strong understanding of ROI and budget management.
o Openness to new ideas, actively facilitates idea generation.
o Able to gather and report on industry information from a wide variety of sources.
