About Canopy Education
Canopy Education is a Community Interest Company (CIC) based in the United Kingdom. We are passionate about using digital technology to enhance teaching and learning. As a Google Professional Development Partner (Education Specialization), we work alongside Google to support the use of Google Workspace for Education.

About Workspace Skills
Workspace Skills is a SaaS (Software as a Service) product that trains teachers and students to use Google Workspace for Education through ‘learning by doing’ with Howdou interactive tutorials. Workspace Skills was developed in partnership with Evalve (our partners in Sweden).

Since its launch in 2020, we have awarded more than 125,000 badges to teachers and students, developing their skills and efficiency in Google Workspace. We have continued to iterate to add our badge passports and data dashboard for schools. We are now looking for someone to lead the next phase of development as we grow our users, both in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of the product – you will work closely with Evalve to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our end users
Managing the sales pipeline for Workspace Skills – tracking conversions and reporting on progress
Demonstrating Workspace Skills, both online (and maybe even at in-person events) to new customers, to ensure they understand the key features of the tool
Onboard new customers, and working with existing customers, to ensure they make the most from our suite of badges

Required Skills
A Workspace Whizz! – at Canopy we are a bit geeky about Google Workspace and you’ll need to stay on top of the platform to ensure our product continues to stay up-to-date. You need to be a highly proficient user of Google Workspace.
A team player with great communication skills – while we work remotely most of the time, alongside our partners in Sweden, you’ll need to work closely with our team via Meet, Chat and smart canvas
Passionate about the use of digital technology in schools – experience in the EdTech Sector, either from previous job roles or directly within education
Sales Experience – you will need to close sales and renewals with our customers, as we continue to grow, selling to private & public schools, international schools, Multi-Academy Trusts and districts
Organised & efficient

Note: This is a remote role – you can work from home. Hours will be flexible based on needs and requests of customers (e.g. multiple time zones).

Canopy Education CIC is committed to encouraging equality, diversity, and inclusion among our team. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative of all sections of society and our customers.

If you have any questions regarding this role, please contact andrew@canopy.education.
