RM Resources part of the RM Group have an exciting opening for a Product Manager role. On offer is a competitive market rate salary range between £20-£25k and benefits package. The role is based at our Kirkby-in-Ashfield offices, NG17 9LE. Working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday with core business hours being 8.30am-5pm. The role will report into the Head of Furniture & SEN and is part of the Digital and Marketing team. The Product Manager will have full responsibility for developing their catalogue/product ranges by analysing the current performance of the catalogue/ ranges and further enhancing with a full review of existing/new factored/ product development lines. The Product Manager will also be responsible for identifying multiple channels to market.

A main feature of this role is to develop unique, commercially viable products that will enhance the current product offering, together with globally sourcing new factored lines that will be fundamental to the growth of the catalogue/product ranges and ultimately the division and the TTS business.

This all has to be executed in a timely manner in order to hit deadlines for the mailing of the main catalogue and direct marketing campaigns that will support the growth of the division and the TTS business.

You will need the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • A degree in a related subject and/or relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous. 
  • Previous product marketing experience, preferably gained within a mail order or FMCG environment.
  • An understanding of the education sector, current trends and developments.
  • Accurate analytical and administrative skills, with a high degree of IT literacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving licence
