If this sounds like you, then you may be interested in this role.

The role involves supporting schools in Hertfordshire both onsite and via the Service Desk helpline. When supporting schools onsite, you will be travelling around Hertfordshire to provide a range of ICT support services on weekdays, within business hours (i.e. 9am – 5pm).

On the Service Desk you will be providing high quality support via telephone, email and the ICT Service Desk Portal. Accurately logging requests and incidents, ensuring they resolved in a timely manner or escalated to senior colleagues if appropriate. This is currently taking place remotely due to Covid-19.

We are seeking a proactive individual who is keen to learn about new technologies, likes to solve problems, and is willing to be exposed to technical issues and equipment from the get go. This is a customer facing role which requires attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting techniques and exceptional customer services skills.

Previous technical experience would be beneficial, however for the right candidate full training is available.

The team are working remotely where possible to support their schools and when required, providing onsite support to their schools in line with Government guidelines. Therefore the ability to reach different locations by car will be essential. If you drive then a full driving licence and appropriate car insurance will be required. Also as there is a permanent home working element to this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped for home working.
