The former Sky World News presenter Sharon Doughty is pleased to run a leadership workshop on Friday 10^th January at our BESA Offices!

This will be a chance to explore and discover inner strengths and learn simple and practical strategies for being a relaxed and confident performer.

The motivational TED Talk speaker Sharon Doughty started her career as an international television presenter and crime reporter working at ITV, the BBC and then Sky News.

A near fatal car crash on her way to the TV studios changed her life. She choose to leave television and use her skills differently to help teach children how to speak up about issues that frightened or worried them. She created Dot Com, a cartoon friend to show children how to ask for help and to learn how to value themselves.

She is currently working with the Police to create a new Dot Com Digital resource which will help protect children from the current digital threat and will be funded for schools nationwide.
