An exciting chance to learn about the changing CPD marketplace and understand the training and development opportunities that can make an impact!

The Teacher Development Trust and BESA (British Educational Suppliers Association) are delighted to be hosting this one-day event at Mary Sumner Hall in Westminster, London, specifically designed for providers of training and professional learning in schools.

The conference will offer key insights into how the CPD marketplace is changing and explore how to best deliver training and development opportunities that make a sustained impact on teachers and students alike.

Areas of input/discussion are likely to include:

  • National funding streams for CPD including TLIF, SSIF and newly-announced opportunities - what they are, how to apply and how they link to the Standard for Teachers' Professional Development (including input from the DfE)
  • Spreading the word: successfully raising awareness of your CPD opportunity - what works, which networks and what you should include about your opportunity?
  • What other providers are doing: case studies and examples of best practice
  • How are Teaching Schools doing CPD effectively?
  • Showing impact and clarifying evidence - how to evaluate and demonstrate quality of your offer

The event is open to CPD providers from a range of sectors including commercial providers, freelance consultants, non-profits, HEIs, local authorities, professional associations and Teaching School Alliances. We are delighted to offer BESA members a 15% ticket discount.

General admission usually costs £245 per person, which is reduced to £208.25 for BESA members, which includes refreshments and a light lunch.

Book your place here.
