Learn how to write successful and engaging web articles and blogs with this practical online workshop from the Education Media Centre.

Would you like to make better use of web content to help you get noticed? If so, this course is for you. Whether you run your own website or are wondering about writing for someone else's, this half day session, tailored specifically for education suppliers, will help you get started.

  • What is a blog, anyway, and why would you want to write one?
  • Which forms of web writing will work for different audiences or purposes?
  • What type of language and tone is best, and how can you be sure of getting read?
  • We’ll also offer tips on how to set up a site and on how to use social media to make sure it gets noticed.

The course will include a practical exercise with the opportunity for feedback – so you should leave with some draft copy on a topic of your choosing.
