Understand how best to communicate and engage with schools next year in this informed panel discussion including a Head Teacher, an SEN specialist, an LA representative and an experienced supplier.

We’ll be exploring how schools’ priorities changed since Covid-19 and what teachers are looking for now and in the future. Join this session to gauge a better understanding of the school market place and identify potential future opportunities.

 

About the speakers

Simon Tanner - Director of SEND, Bohunt Trust

Establishing a consistent and inclusive SEND framework across a MAT is a challenge to which Simon is striving to achieve.' He has established three Support for Learning departments, worked with MAT SEND Leadership Programmes and most recently supported the MAT review framework with Whole School SEND.' As a firm believer that 'All teachers are teachers of SEND', Simon will describe the systems that make up the successful SEND strategy within the Bohunt Education trust and apply that to the everyday pedagogy of the classroom teacher.

 

Katy Potts - Computing and E-Safety Lead for Children's Services, Islington Council Laycock PDC

Katy has worked for Islington Council since 1999, developing digital education services to schools and families. #IslingtonSchools #IslingtonComp Before this she was a primary school teacher for 7 years. Katy specialises in "Edtech and Digital - Parental Engagement", including Online Safety and sits on the LGFL Safeguarding and Editorial Board, has been an ICT Mark assessor and facilitated the NCSL Strategic Leadership ICT courses. Katy sits on the UK Safer Internet Centre Advisory Board.

Tickets are available per session (ÂŁ20), 4 sessions for the price of 3 (ÂŁ60) and all sessions (ÂŁ75). All sessions will be recorded so if you can't make it don't worry, you can watch them at a time that suits you.
